Milwaukee’s manufacturing community is full of hands-on engineering opportunities, and this onsite role puts you at the center of investment casting problem-solving, tooling improvements, and customer impact. In this Investment Casting Engineer opportunity in Milwaukee, WI, you’ll help drive dimensional accuracy and process ownership across sample and production work.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Investment Casting Engineer position include:
• Direct investment casting experience required; BS in Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Proficiency in reading/drawing 3D models and interpreting engineering drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SolidWorks and 3D CAD/model interpretation experience is needed
• Maintain customer issues, including dimensional concerns
• Approve sample paperwork for dimensional requirements and evaluate/sign off on new print revisions for existing jobs
• Modify and sign off on tooling modifications to meet dimensional requirements
• Work with applicable departments to develop chill blocks, gages, and straightening fixtures and procedures
• Support quoting by working with sales engineers on casting feasibility, gating options, casting requirements, and set-up requirements; handle customer complaints and returns, including RMAs
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
