Description
A precision machining company is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist in Castle Hayne, NC to join a growing, long-established team known for craftsmanship, reliability, and quality. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Lathe Machinist position include:
- 3-5 years of CNC lathe machining experience preferred, with candidates who have 2+ years of strong machining experience also considered.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe machines while producing precision components to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, production drawings, G-code, and general machining instructions.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments and maintain high quality standards.
- Load and accurately indicate parts to fixtures, monitor tool wear, load tools, and replace inserts as needed.
- Perform regular machine maintenance, tool adjustments, and troubleshooting to support production goals.
- Work with CNC equipment including Haas, Doosan, Mori-Seiki, Tsugami, and other advanced machining systems.
- Maintain reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to work overtime or occasional Saturdays as needed.
Salary: $26 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
