A fast-growing construction advisory firm is seeking a Project Controls Manager - Construction for an exciting opportunity at Dulles Airport. This role is ideal for a detail-driven construction professional who thrives in project performance, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting while helping owners make informed decisions on complex aviation construction projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Controls Manager - Construction position include:
- 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably with aviation, commercial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects
- Develop, maintain, and update project master schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, prepare cost forecasts, and produce Estimates at Completion
- Implement earned value management methodologies and report CPI, SPI, and other performance metrics
- Identify critical path activities, monitor progress, flag schedule risks, and maintain project risk registers
- Manage change control by evaluating scope changes for cost and schedule impact and ensuring approvals are documented
- Produce weekly and monthly project performance reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
- Lead and coordinate with schedulers, cost engineers, document controllers, project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
