Description
A fast-growing mechanical contractor in Central Florida is seeking a Chief Estimator in Orlando, FL! This is an exciting opportunity to join a 150+ person team and lead estimating efforts on major commercial, institutional, and industrial projects throughout the region, including healthcare, high-rise, government, higher education, dealerships, strip malls, and light industrial facilities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chief Estimator position include:
- 10+ years of mechanical estimating experience, specifically with ductwork and piping
- Strong background estimating commercial, institutional, and industrial projects
- Experience with healthcare, high-rise, government, higher education, car dealership, strip mall, and light industrial projects
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid or similar estimating software, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lead, coordinate, delegate tasks, and manage a team of 6 estimators
- Ensure vendor bids are received on time and quotes are submitted by deadlines
- Oversee estimating efforts for projects throughout Central Florida
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with regular overtime
Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 per year plus commission, commensurate with experience.
