This exciting Senior Landscape Designer/Sales opportunity is located in Alexandria, VA with a long-standing residential design/build firm that has been delivering exceptional landscapes, craftsmanship, and customer service throughout Northern Virginia for more than 80 years. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Landscape Designer/Sales position include:
- 5+ years of residential landscape design/sales experience with the ability to successfully sell high-end residential projects
- Experience designing and selling outdoor living spaces including patios, outdoor kitchens, landscape lighting, plantings, drainage systems, and custom hardscape installations
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction, hardscape installation, woody trees, shrubs, horticulture, and landscape design principles
- Ability to meet with clients, manage site consultations, create conceptual landscape designs, prepare estimates, and present designs in person
- Skilled in managing client communication throughout the project lifecycle, including handoff meetings, project launch coordination, invoicing support, and final walk-throughs
- Experience with DynaSCAPE, Manage360, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe, Microsoft Office, or similar design and estimating software
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong presentation, communication, customer service, organization, and relationship-building skills
Salary: $48,000 - $50,000 per year base salary, plus commission (total package earning potential up to $200K), commensurate with experience.
