Step into a high-impact leadership opportunity as a Vice President of Operations in Bloomfield, NM! This fully onsite executive role offers the chance to lead a 350+ employee manufacturing facility for a nationally established full-service fabrication company that is making an exciting transition into tech-focused manufacturing, giving the right leader the ability to shape strategy, drive growth, and influence operations at scale.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Vice President of Operations position include:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or assembly environments
- 3-5+ years in senior or executive manufacturing leadership
- Strong background in fabrication, welding operations, assembly, and equipment manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred; MBA or Master’s strongly preferred
- Executive-level knowledge of AWS and ASME welding procedures, piping, structural materials, and production processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel, ERP systems, AutoCAD/Autodesk, and workflow tools such as Monday.com
- Oversee full manufacturing operations, lead strategic initiatives, manage production flow, and align operations with business goals
- Lead and mentor teams, collaborate with executives and customers, and support the company’s transition into technology-sector manufacturing
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 90% employer-paid healthcare premiums for the individual, family support with 50% deductible reimbursement, 401(k) matching with additional annual contribution options or cash payout, negotiable paid time off up to approximately three weeks, Aflac, performance-based bonuses, potential year-end incentives, and relocation assistance of approximately $15,000 reimbursable.
