Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machine Shop Manager position include:
- Proven experience as a Machine Shop Manager or Production Manager in a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of JobBOSS ERP or similar ERP systems
- Deep understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and shop workflow
- Experience managing high-mix, low-volume, tight-tolerance production environments
- Lead daily machine shop operations including scheduling, production flow, capacity planning, and personnel management
- Mentor and develop machinists, programmers, and shop personnel while collaborating with engineering, quality, and planning teams
- Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures
Salary: $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
