Description
Bring your precision welding skills to a fast-paced, high-impact manufacturing environment in the Detroit area, supporting aerospace and defense-related tooling and assemblies. In this Welder opportunity, you’ll work onsite at a major Warren, Michigan facility with a demanding schedule and the chance to produce high-quality work to tight tolerances.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Welder position include:
- 2–5 years of professional welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong TIG/GTAW welding ability, with MIG experience a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
- Experience welding aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, or other specialty metals.
- Perform precision welding and fabrication on aerospace/defense-related components, assemblies, fixtures, and tooling.
- Work with tight dimensional tolerances, including thin-gauge materials.
- Inspect completed work for fit, alignment, contour, weld quality, and tolerance compliance.
- Complete pre-employment drug screening and meet U.S. citizenship requirements.
Salary: $25-35/hr, commensurate with experience.
