Bring your leadership to a high-impact fabrication shop in Greenville, SC, where safety, quality, and on-time delivery drive real outcomes across industrial construction, maintenance, shutdown, and manufacturing projects. This Shop / Fabrication Manager opportunity gives you the single point of accountability to shape daily production execution, workforce performance, and continuous improvement across the fabrication floor.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Shop / Fabrication Manager position include:
- Five or more years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, industrial construction, mechanical contracting, or a related shop environment, plus five or more years of supervisory or management experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop shop supervisors, leads, fabricators, welders, machine operators, and support employees.
- Maintain ownership of day-to-day fabrication shop operations, workforce coordination, workflow, and production execution.
- Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead fabrication schedules aligned with project priorities and required delivery dates.
- Ensure shop safety performance and visible compliance with company safety policies and applicable requirements.
- Drive quality by ensuring fabrication complies with approved drawings, specifications, codes, welding procedures, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate fabrication equipment and facility management, including safe operation, preventive maintenance, and utilization.
- Monitor labor productivity, earned versus spent hours, overtime, rework, scrap, throughput, and equipment utilization to support cost control and continuous improvement.
Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
