As a Senior Federal Mechanical Project Manager, you will work in the field driving heavy mechanical and plumbing renovation projects from start to finish.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Federal Mechanical Project Manager position include:
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in heavy mechanical and plumbing construction, along with 5+ years of project management experience on federal or government projects; VA project experience is strongly preferred
- Full project ownership and leadership of $2 million–$20 million heavy mechanical and plumbing renovation projects—not primarily oversight or administrative support
- Experience coordinating general contractor-level activities for heavy mechanical and plumbing scopes, including complex renovation work
- Strong technology proficiency and comfort working in a paperless environment using Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and OneDrive or shared drives
- Willingness to travel extensively to support VA and other federal projects throughout the East Coast
- Ability to work from the Paducah, KY office when not assigned to a project site
- Direct involvement in field execution, trade coordination, scheduling, and ensuring projects remain aligned with project plans
- Ability to lead decisively within a collaborative environment focused on streamlined processes and efficient communication
Location: Advertised in Nashville, TN; position is based out of Paducah, KY with extensive East Coast travel
Relocation Assistance: Available
Salary: $165,000–$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience
