An exciting opportunity awaits for a Project Manager in Mesa, AZ, with an innovative architectural metal manufacturer specializing in custom metal roofing, wall systems, and specialty facades! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Manager position include:
- Previous project management experience in an office-based environment required, with knowledge of metal roofing, architectural metal panels, ACM, or custom metal fabrication strongly preferred.
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or fabrication preferred, with the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
- Coordinate architectural metal projects from initial planning through engineering, manufacturing, and installation, ensuring schedules, budgets, specifications, and quality standards are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining consistent communication with customers, vendors, architects, engineers, fabricators, and installation teams.
- Track project timelines, materials, shipments, fabrication progress, resources, and costs while identifying potential conflicts and developing effective solutions.
- Lead project kickoff and handoff meetings, coordinate internal and external teams, prepare progress reports, and develop, track, and negotiate change orders.
- Support the project management team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, learn the company's M1 system, and ensure projects progress efficiently from start to finish.
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a competitive benefits package, paid time off (PTO) with 5 days the following calendar year, 10 days after one year, and 15 days upon reaching five years. PTO is prorated during the hire year and follows a use-it-or-lose-it policy.
