Description
Join a nationally recognized architecture and design firm as a Project Architect in the Urban Architecture Studio, working onsite in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed architect to contribute to award-winning high-rise, mid-rise, multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use projects at a firm known for shaping more walkable, vibrant urban communities through entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional design, and strong professional support.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Architect position include:
- 5–10 years of experience in architecture, with multifamily or hospitality experience preferred
- 5-year Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree required
- Licensed architect required
- Lead the technical execution, production of documentation, and consultant coordination within budget and schedule
- Provide code compliance expertise from project conception and prepare permittable contract documents
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, general contractors, and internal project teams, and participate in client meetings and presentations
- Submit plans to TDLR and TAS reviewers for approval and administer construction phase services as required
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit/BIM, Microsoft Word, and Excel required; Photoshop preferred, along with strong graphic, design, and presentation skills
Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including employer-paid medical, dental, and life insurance for the employee, long-term disability, 10 days PTO, 11 holidays, a parking allowance of approximately $178 per month, semi-annual discretionary bonus, profit sharing, a 401(k) with 3% safe harbor after 1 year, Section 125 pre-tax benefits, professional development, and licensing reimbursement.
