In this Production Operations Manager opportunity in Louisiana, you’ll oversee end-to-end custom fire truck production with a close-knit, non-corporate culture.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production Operations Manager position include:
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing a large team in production or manufacturing
- Oversee the end-to-end production process for custom fire apparatus
- Provide operational leadership across 10 manufacturing departments and approximately 90-95 employees
- Maintain employee accountability, discipline, motivation, and focus to keep production flow on track
- Monitor production schedules and anticipate bottlenecks or capacity constraints 5-7 months in advance
- Collaborate with engineering and sales to resolve production questions and confirm customer specifications
- Develop solutions that improve performance while supporting employee retention
- Report directly to the company owner and contribute to the vision for manufacturing operations
Salary: $130,000-$150,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
