Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production Machine Operator - Welding & Grinding position include:
- Previous experience operating metalworking production equipment
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience with butt weld machines and grinding equipment preferred
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to perform routine machine setup and maintenance
- Load, operate, and unload butt welding machines and related welding equipment
- Load, operate, and unload grinding machines, including surface grinders, belt grinders, and similar equipment
- Perform quality inspections, identify defects, and document results accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support fast-paced production demands while lifting up to 50 lbs.
Salary: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
