Description
A premier manufacturer of custom high-end wood ceilings, acoustic wall panels, and engineered polymer ceiling and canopy systems is seeking a Millwork Estimator/Bidder in Saint Augustine, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative, family-oriented company with approximately 225 employees, modern high-end offices, and projects spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Millwork Estimator/Bidder position include:
- 5+ years of architectural millwork estimating experience, with 10–15+ years strongly considered
- Read and understand plans, specifications, scope of work, details, and schedules for CSI Division 6 and Division 9 projects
- Generate material take-offs from architectural drawings for custom wood ceilings, walls, and engineered polymer ceiling/canopy systems
- Perform computer takeoffs using Bluebeam, Excel, estimating software, and internal database systems such as NetSuite
- Interact with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Estimating teams to compile bid proposals
- Estimate commercial projects ranging from under $10,000 to approximately $6 million
- Apply strong mathematical accuracy, attention to detail, and technical aptitude in architectural woodworking
- AutoCAD drafting experience, Mechanical Engineering education, and knowledge of AWI and/or CISCA standards are a plus
Salary: $65,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
