Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an MEP Field Inspector in Houston, Texas with a small, collaborative engineering firm that specializes in MEP design support for educational facilities. This team offers direct field involvement, strong internal communication, and the chance to help ensure school district construction projects are completed according to design specifications.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this MEP Field Inspector position include:
- 1-2 years of MEP field inspection experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with educational projects
- Field wiring knowledge, email communication, and computer literacy
- Communicate with internal teams, General Contractors, installers, and field stakeholders
- Ensure work in the field follows engineering designs and specifications
- Report to and support a lead inspector on active construction sites
- Ability to work occasional evening or weekend overtime during power shutdowns
Salary: $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
