Build your future with a leader in lifting solutions where safety, quality, and teamwork drive every project. In this Mechanical Equipment Engineer opportunity, you’ll help design, develop, test, and troubleshoot heavy lifting equipment while working in a collaborative environment in Olathe, KS.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Equipment Engineer position include:
- 3-4+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering/design experience (not a “green” engineer), with heavy equipment/mechanical design experience; mobile crane/crane experience highly preferred.
- Design and analyze mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD and engineering analysis tools.
- Lead projects from concept through production, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Perform design validation through simulations, calculations, and physical testing; analyze test results and make data-driven recommendations.
- Generate detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, assist with root cause analysis and corrective action, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior Mechanical Engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project life cycle.
Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
