Build your future with hands-on engineering work in Roanoke, TX, where your drawings and models directly support the build of large trenching equipment. This Mechanical Draftsman opportunity and pairs day-to-day collaboration in the engineering office with close manufacturing input to keep projects moving from concept through release.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Draftsman position include:
- Mechanical drafting experience preparing technical drawings and models for parts or assemblies.
- Proficiency with Solid Edge, 2D drafting, and Creo.
- Strong mechanical design fundamentals and the ability to develop trencher parts alongside the head engineer.
- Ability to incorporate engineering revisions into drawings and models for manufacturing use.
- Prepare mechanical drawings and models for trencher parts and assemblies from concept through release.
- Support manufacturing, prototyping, and project execution under engineering guidance.
- Maintain clean models and organized technical records throughout the design and release process.
- Drilling, rig, or comparable heavy equipment experience is helpful; a relevant degree is preferred.
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
