In this Maintenance & Facilities Manager role, you’ll lead plant maintenance and facilities initiatives across complex polyurethane processing systems, utilities, and support infrastructure.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance & Facilities Manager position include:
- 7–10 years of maintenance leadership experience in process manufacturing; chemical manufacturing experience with industrial mechanical, electrical, and controls knowledge (urethane, coatings, or specialty chemicals preferred).
- Execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy covering predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for highly complex polyurethane process systems, including tanks, reactors, pressure vessels, mixers, pumps, ovens, utilities, controls, and support systems.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing maintenance operation with 24/7 coverage capabilities and rapid response to equipment breakdowns and process interruptions.
- Develop team capability across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, welding, and pipefitting; establish clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations, including ongoing training.
- Build reliability-centered maintenance programs for critical assets, including CMMS ownership, asset history, work order management, and failure/root cause analysis.
- Establish and maintain mechanical integrity programs for tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems compliant with API, ASME, and internal standards.
- Track and improve maintenance KPIs including safety performance, unplanned downtime, reduced failure rates, and work order completion.
- Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and integrate safety into all maintenance activities, including LOTO, confined space work, hot work, and contractor management.
Salary: $120K+ per year, commensurate with experience.
