Now hiring a Machinist - 1st & 2nd Shift in Orlando, FL with an established aerospace manufacturing company producing U.S.-made precision tooling trusted worldwide for mission-critical aerospace, defense, and aviation applications. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machinist position include:
- 1-2+ years of machining experience required, with hands-on experience in Grinding, Prototrak Milling, CNC Milling, or CNC Lathe operations.
- Set up, program, and operate machining equipment for precision aerospace and defense components.
- Working knowledge of G & M code programming required for CNC Mill and CNC Lathe roles.
- Experience with Prototrak conversational controls, Fanuc, Milltronics, or Okuma controls is preferred.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and GD&T callouts to produce parts to print.
- Select tooling, troubleshoot machining processes, adjust programs, and maintain tight tolerances.
- Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, and other precision measurement tools.
- Maintain production documentation, follow safety protocols, and communicate with leadership and quality teams.
Salary: $27 - $31 per hour, plus shift differential pay, commensurate with experience.
