In this HVAC & Plumbing Estimator/Project Manager opportunity, you’ll help keep projects running smoothly from early estimating through final closeout—making an immediate impact on budgets, schedules, and customer experience.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC & Plumbing Estimator/Project Manager position include:
- 3–7 years of experience in HVAC/plumbing construction management, estimating, project management, or a related mechanical construction role
- Prepare detailed HVAC and plumbing estimates using plans, specifications, site visits, and customer requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis for residential custom homes, remodels, and light commercial projects
- Review construction documents to identify scope gaps, conflicts, inconsistencies, and cost risks
- Develop project budgets covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, permits, and contingencies
- Coordinate project handoff, lead turnover meetings, and manage awarded projects through completion
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and profitability; manage change orders and resolve field conflicts and delays
- Communicate proactively with builders, homeowners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to support a seamless customer experience
Salary: $95,000-$125,000 per year.
Benefits: Partially employer-paid health insurance (approximately 50%-60%), HMO/PPO options, dental at employee cost, tuition reimbursement, a 4% 401(k) Safe Harbor match, Massachusetts sick time, and accrued PTO starting around 80 hours with up to 160 hours negotiable.
