This Heat Treat Operator Lead opportunity is based in the Phoenix area and offers hands-on leadership on the production floor, supporting batch furnace operations and training teammates.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heat Treat Operator Lead position include:
- 3–5+ years of heat treating experience, with a strong background in batch furnace operations and endothermic gas processes.
- Knowledge of IQ batch furnace required.
- Ability to supervise and assist newer team members while maintaining safe, quality-driven operations.
- Experience monitoring loads and maintaining accurate records, including tests to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and moving the lineup around as jobs require.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Safety-sensitive mindset with OSHA training and willingness to complete MTI training (Level II Operator Training) on schedule.
- Willingness to learn and work in other departments as needed, including covering other shifts when fallout occurs.
- Be able to pass a drug screen and quarterly random tests to maintain a drug free work environment.
Salary: $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience.
