Step into a long-standing Philadelphia manufacturer with deep roots in classical Pilates and a clear growth mission. In this FP&A - Business Planning Analyst opportunity, you’ll help connect financial planning to manufacturing performance as the company expands into a new 300,000-square-foot facility in Port Richmond and works toward tripling output over the next 3–5 years.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this FP&A - Business Planning Analyst position include:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business planning, or a related role; manufacturing or physical-product experience preferred.
- Support monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and broader financial planning; independently build and maintain models for revenue, gross margin, labor, operating expenses, and cash flow.
- Compare actual results with budgets, forecasts, and prior periods to explain variances and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and margins, including labor, inventory, production activity, and supply chain performance.
- Prepare KPI reports and dashboards covering sales, backlog, production, inventory, shipments, labor, and margins.
- Partner with operations and business leaders to explain performance drivers and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Lead and support analysis of pricing, productivity, staffing, inventory, supply chain, capital expenditures, and other operational decisions.
- Improve ERP reporting, data consistency, planning processes, and reporting tools to support the company’s growth.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance is offered with most health insurance premiums covered, depending on plan, with two PPO options and one HMO; $5, $25 or $50 per month depending on plan. The role also includes 401k with automatic enrollment, 10 accrued PTO days and five sick days.
