Join a highly respected luxury custom home builder that specializes in exclusive, high-end residential projects and takes a quality-over-quantity approach to construction. This Estimator / Project Manager opportunity is located in Sarasota, FL, and offers the chance to work on multimillion-dollar custom homes and luxury remodels while collaborating directly with ownership in a self-sufficient, non-micromanaged environment where your expertise and leadership will make a significant impact.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator / Project Manager position include:
- Minimum 10 years of onsite high-end custom luxury residential construction experience.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with construction document analysis, estimating, budgeting, purchasing, and quantity takeoffs.
- Strong proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, CoConstruct/Buildertrend, Excel, and project management software.
- Lead detailed reviews of construction documents, specifications, permitting documents, and project requirements.
- Manage bid solicitation, subcontractor and supplier outreach, bid leveling, pricing analysis, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare RFIs, maintain project documentation, and coordinate information among stakeholders.
- Administer purchasing, procurement planning, budget tracking, change orders, and cost-control processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with trade partners, subcontractors, suppliers, accounting, and construction management teams.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
