In this Equipment Manager opportunity, you’ll own the equipment fleet and tool room systems that keep field work moving and costs under control.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Equipment Manager position include:
- 5+ years of experience managing construction, industrial, manufacturing, or contractor equipment fleets.
- Maintain complete ownership of company-owned equipment, tools, trailers, vehicles, and specialty assets.
- Develop and maintain a centralized equipment inventory database with accurate tracking of location, condition, utilization, and ownership status.
- Develop, implement, and manage a preventive maintenance program, including scheduling, tracking, certifications, and maintenance records.
- Serve as the primary contact for rental equipment procurement, including quotations, negotiations, delivery/pickup coordination, and invoice review.
- Manage tool room operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, audits, and accountability systems.
- Oversee shop receiving and logistics, including verifying deliveries, coordinating unloading/storage, resolving freight claims, and supporting staging.
- Ensure safety and compliance for regulated assets, maintain required inspection/testing/certification records, and support OSHA and incident investigations.
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
