Build your future with a close-knit team serving commercial and industrial customers across the region from Sioux Falls, SD, powering waste oil heating systems that recycle used oil into usable heat. In this Service Technician – Waste Oil Furnaces & Boilers opportunity, you’ll learn the specialty of waste oil heating through hands-on training while working on real equipment in truck shops, dealerships, industrial facilities, and agricultural settings.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Service Tech – Waste Oil Furnaces & Boilers position include:
- At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience.
- Comfort using basic hand tools such as wrenches and pliers.
- Ability and willingness to learn installation, service, and troubleshooting of mechanical heating equipment.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience working in environments such as truck repair shops, automotive dealerships, industrial facilities, or agricultural facilities.
- Willingness to travel regionally (about one full week per quarter) and return home on weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot waste oil furnaces, burners, and boilers; support parts sales/customer service as part of the service operation.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
