Step into a hands-on leadership role with a family-owned electrical contractor supporting Central Florida communities from Eustis and Sumterville. This Electrical Operations Manager opportunity blends field visibility with operational ownership, managing residential, commercial, industrial/manufacturing, and underground infrastructure work while keeping projects safe, efficient, and profitable.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Operations Manager position include:
- Electrical operations/project management experience overseeing field teams, schedules, job costing, financial oversight, customer relationships, vendors, and timecards.
- Oversee daily electrical service and project teams, monitoring jobs for schedule, scope, safety, and quality.
- Visit job sites regularly to review progress, identify concerns, and help resolve operational issues early.
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, vehicles, and resources for each job; ensure field employees understand expectations.
- Develop and maintain daily/weekly schedules and adjust assignments as needs change.
- Review labor hours, material usage, vendor expenses, purchase orders, change orders, and job-related costs to support profitability.
- Serve as a primary operational contact for customers, employees, vendors, and office personnel; communicate professionally on progress and delays.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and ensure paperwork supports invoicing, payroll processing, and operational reporting.
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
