This Director Of Landscape Architecture And Design Build opportunity blends thoughtful landscape architecture with hands-on technical leadership, so your work directly shapes what clients experience in the field.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director Of Landscape Architecture And Design Build position include:
- 10+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture or closely related residential design/build, with a strong portfolio of high-end outdoor projects.
- Landscape architecture degree and Texas registration or a clear path to Texas licensure before performing work requiring a license.
- Ability to personally produce and oversee designs, with strong foundation in grading, drainage, site planning, planting, irrigation coordination, and construction documentation.
- AutoCAD proficiency; SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
- Structural and engineering knowledge, including the ability to read architectural and engineering blueprints and coordinate technical solutions.
- Major priority: field experience taking projects from initial concept through construction and completion, including real-time troubleshooting on active job sites.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, estimating, construction handoffs, and coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and specialty trades.
- Leadership and business development capability to operate like a GM within a small team, including client-facing communication and lead support.
Salary: $115,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
