Bring your talent to a thriving Salt Lake City market where luxury residential projects move from design vision to real specifications. In this Design and Architectural Specification Representative opportunity, you’ll build relationships with high-end interior designers, architects, and luxury builders to get premium hardwood flooring and surface products specified before construction begins.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Design and Architectural Specification Representative position include:
- Experience in outside sales, business development, architectural specifications, or a client-facing design-related role.
- Ability to independently prospect, build call lists, schedule meetings, and develop relationships with design firms and builders.
- Comfort visiting design and architectural offices to present products, samples, and digital/printed marketing materials.
- Strong relationship-building skills with luxury residential clients and demanding design professionals.
- Persistent follow-up mindset, understanding that specifications and sales can take 6–12 months or longer.
- Ability to maintain relationships throughout the design and construction process to help ensure specified products remain on the project.
- Comfort reviewing basic architectural/CAD specifications (CAD design experience not required).
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and willingness to manage an independent schedule with minimal supervision.
Salary: $75,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
