This exciting opportunity is for a Journeyman Construction Supervisor (Plumbing & HVAC Focus) based at a secure residential construction facility, where you’ll help build high-quality, energy-efficient homes while mentoring and training others. This role stands out by combining hands-on plumbing and HVAC leadership with a purpose-driven housing initiative that strengthens communities across the state.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Supervisor (Plumbing & HVAC Focus) position include:
- Supervise, motivate, and train individuals in plumbing and HVAC installation and safety practices
- Inspect plumbing and HVAC work to ensure code compliance and quality standards
- Apply strong knowledge of residential construction methods and on-the-job safety
- Operate and oversee the use of construction-related tools and machinery
- Communicate professionally with staff, partners, and program participants
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimates
- Lift, carry, and handle heavy materials as required on job sites
- Maintain required licensure, valid driver’s license, and pass an extensive background check
Salary: $30.00 per hour, with increases for additional qualifications and experience.
