Description
Build your future with a Southwest Florida concrete contractor delivering structural concrete, structural masonry, flatwork, and concrete cutting and demolition on commercial and multifamily projects. This Assistant Project Manager opportunity in Fort Myers offers hands-on exposure to structural concrete and masonry while supporting safe, efficient, and on-schedule delivery across the region.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Assistant Project Manager position include:
- 3+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, project engineering, estimating, or assistant project management preferred.
- Experience with concrete, structural concrete, masonry, commercial construction, or a closely related construction trade is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Support project scheduling, cost tracking, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other construction documentation.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction projects with a focus on safety and quality.
- Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Track materials procurement, deliveries, budgets, labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
- Conduct periodic jobsite visits throughout Southwest Florida and support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
Salary: $70,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience.
