This CNC Lathe Setup/Lead Operator opportunity puts you at the center of day-shift production, supporting operators, maintaining schedule integrity, and ensuring parts meet spec on advanced CNC equipment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Lathe Setup/Lead Operator position include:
- 5+ years of production machining experience
- Runs and manages production in the CNC Lathe Department
- Sets up new jobs and makes tool offsets and tooling changes as needed
- Assists department operators with quality and performance
- Trains new employees as needed
- Properly inspects products and ensures good-quality output
- Maintains equipment readiness, including new tooling and proper coolant levels
- Reports issues to the Day Shift Production Supervisor and Engineering
Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
