Description
Bring your manufacturing expertise to a hands-on Process Engineering role in Brenham, TX, where your work directly drives quality, safety, and capacity for high-performance specialty products. In this Chemical Process Engineer opportunity, you’ll analyze workflows and equipment, support chemical mixing operations, and help implement continuous improvement and capital projects on the production floor.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chemical Process Engineer position include:
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or mechanical engineering; strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems.
- At least one year of hands-on engineering experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
- Comfort spending 25%+ of your day walking production lines, wearing required PPE, and lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow, equipment performance, and layout analysis.
- Evaluate and improve chemical processes by acquiring, evaluating, and reporting on critical process parameters in mixing operations.
- Prepare and maintain process metrics and reports; evaluate and report on plant operational efficiency and capacity.
- Familiarity with process control systems, including PLC and pneumatic control systems; provide technical support during quality issues or process upsets.
Salary: $95,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
