Description
Bring your AutoCAD precision to major deep foundation and excavation projects across the Tri-State area, with a family-owned organization. In this Autocad Drafter opportunity, you’ll support complex pile layout and shop drawing work for union-scale infrastructure jobs based in Newark, NJ.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Autocad Drafter position include:
- 5–10 years of AutoCAD drafting experience
- Produce accurate pile layout drawings, including pile identification coordinates
- Create shop drawings for piles and support plan coordination
- Coordinate plans with field teams (field guys in and out)
- Work in person five days per week, Monday–Friday
- Use PlanSwift and Bluebeam (preferred)
- Support projects involving thousands of piles with strong attention to detail
- Opportunity to grow into additional skillsets over time, including estimating and purchasing
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: 20% discretionary Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) instead of 401k based on profits, medical, dental, vision, paid time off starting at 2 weeks and increasing to 3 weeks after 3 years (negotiable for the right candidate), sick time, and free catered lunch from local restaurants plus free coffee and snacks.
