Description
Bring your heavy steel plate detailing expertise to a family-owned fabrication shop in Duette, Florida, where nearly 50 years of experience translates into real, varied projects and a team-first culture. This AutoCad Detailer / Vessel Detailer opportunity supports pressure vessel and structural steel work at an onsite, open-shop (non-union) facility.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this AutoCad Detailer / Vessel Detailer position include:
- Minimum 5 years of fabricating shop experience.
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD; working knowledge of 3D AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to calculate areas, volumes, and weights for fabricated components.
- Experience with pressure vessels, tanks, large- and small-diameter piping, ductwork, miscellaneous platforms, ladders, and related equipment.
- Detail plate and miscellaneous steel.
- Generate arrangement drawings, assembly details, bills of material, part details, and layouts.
- Check drawing packages created by other detailers.
Salary: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
