Qualifications and responsibilities for this Assistant Construction Superintendent position include:
- 3-5 years of strong interior construction experience including Tenant Improvement, Build Out, Renovation projects + more
- Open to travel to New York City and New Jersey for project placements
- Support the Project Superintendent and Project Manager in day-to-day on-site management of construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, field activities, scheduling, and resource allocation to help meet project milestones
- Ensure field operations comply with safety standards, project schedules, and quality requirements
- Assist with preparing and updating area, trade, and overall project schedules
- Help maintain project documentation, site records, reports, and attend project meetings
- Act as a liaison between subcontractors and client field representatives while supporting inspections, reporting, and project team reviews
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health, medical, dental, and vision coverage with 85% paid for the individual, a 401(k) match up to 6%, 4 weeks of PTO for a level 2 employee, 11 paid holidays, plus auto and per diem.
