Assistant Project Manager, Civil Land Development is an excellent opportunity for an engineer ready to shift from hands-on production design into project leadership, with clear growth toward full Project Manager responsibilities. The role is based in North Texas with in-office support initially and hybrid potential once established.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Assistant Project Manager position include:
- 4+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on site design and land development, including residential subdivision experience strongly preferred.
- Lead and support design production of grading, drainage, utility, paving, and erosion control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including experience with corridors, pipe networks, and grading.
- Coordinate permitting and approvals with North Texas municipalities and reviewing agencies.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and supporting documentation for residential subdivision projects.
- Coordinate project submittals and collaborate with utility providers, surveyors, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with scheduling, budgeting, project delivery, and client communication.
- Review and check design work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance and feedback.
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
