Qualifications and responsibilities for this Asphalt Plant Operator opportunity include:
- 2+ years of experience as a plant operator
- Responsible for operating 2 asphalt plants, ordering materials needed for production, ensuring the asphalt is mixed within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Oversee asphalt mixing to meet TDOT, local, and commercial specifications
- Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, and project managers for efficient workflow
- Coordinate schedules with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring project adherence to plans and specifications
- Handle daily reporting with flexibility to work along the I-24 and I-840 corridors as needed
- Night and weekend shift work may be required
Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
