Description
Take your financial leadership to a mission-driven manufacturing environment in Holden, LA, where your work directly supports lifesaving equipment for fire departments nationwide. In this Controller opportunity, you’ll guide day-to-day accounting and financial operations while partnering closely with department leaders and executive management.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controller position include:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with responsibility for daily accounting and financial operations; CPA and manufacturing experience preferred
- Hands-on job costing experience, including WIP, inventory accounting, and standard costing
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, inventory accounting, and general ledger auditing
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Partner with department managers on cost analysis, production margins, and inventory management
Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
