Step into a high-impact role supporting a niche Northeast Ohio general contractor. In this Controller opportunity, you’ll help bring focus back to the finance function, drive accurate job costing and WIP reporting, and ensure monthly financials are completed correctly for a growing organization.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controller position include:
- 5+ years of experience, with a track record of closing books and producing monthly financials
- Construction accounting experience, including job costing and WIP accounting
- Experience overseeing billing and payroll processes
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with unions and certified payroll is required
- Ability to manage finance team responsibilities and ensure payments are handled correctly
- Experience with ERP transition or familiarity with systems such as Acumatica is a plus
- Reports directly to the CEO and President
Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
