In this General Manager – Roof & Floor Truss Plant opportunity, you’ll take ownership of a major division, drive performance across operations and finance, and help strengthen a long-tenured workforce while supporting ongoing growth.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this General Manager – Roof & Floor Truss Plant position include:
- Direct professional experience in the roof and floor truss or lumberyard industry.
- Lead the overall performance and day-to-day operation of the Waverly roof and floor truss division.
- Own the division’s P&L, budgeting, operating income, purchasing, sales, production, and growth.
- Provide direct leadership to approximately 4–6 department leaders, including plant, finance, design, and estimating personnel.
- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence throughout the plant and office.
- Ensure customer commitments, production schedules, quality standards, and financial targets are met.
- Support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, quality control, and continuous improvement.
- Develop employees, strengthen accountability, and maintain a positive workplace culture.
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
