Bring your estimating expertise to a mission-driven organization making a real difference in public restrooms across the US—right from the heart of the DMV area in Elkridge. This Estimator opportunity supports high-profile commercial restroom projects while giving you the tools, training, and team collaboration to deliver accurate, competitive proposals.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator position include:
- 5+ years of estimating experience within a General Contractor (GC), subcontractor, or building products/manufacturing environment.
- Interpret architectural and MEP drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare formal commercial quotes/proposals in a bid environment.
- Review project scope and highlight drawings to support the sales and bid process with clear scope-of-work proposals.
- Take ownership of the estimate lifecycle from initial takeoff through revisions, value engineering, and final submission.
- Prepare accurate material and labor cost estimates for Dolphin restroom product systems, factoring in cost, materials, and production time.
- Prepare formal quotes/proposals for bid requests from general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and direct clients.
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam to manage multiple concurrent quotes and ensure turnaround time and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to confirm product availability, lead times, and cost assumptions; flag scope gaps early.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
