This Professional Engineer (PE) – Structural Inspections position is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering strong autonomy and hands-on training from an established Tulsa team.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Engineer (PE) – Structural Inspections position include:
- Active Oklahoma PE license required; no minimum experience level necessary.
- Perform residential and commercial structural inspections throughout Oklahoma.
- Evaluate foundations, framing, structural distress, drainage, moisture, and building-integrity concerns.
- Manage approximately two to three scheduled inspection appointments per day.
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally with clients in the field.
- Prepare inspection reports using company-provided Microsoft Word templates.
- Use Jobber to manage daily appointments and scheduling.
- Travel throughout Oklahoma as required; mileage is reimbursed.
Compensation: This is a 1099 independent contractor position with no base salary. Compensation is based on an agreed-upon percentage of each completed inspection.
Benefits: Benefits are not provided under the 1099 independent contractor arrangement.
