Based in Montgomeryville, PA, this opportunity offers hands-on work that directly supports CFR-compliant emissions testing, customer-facing communication, and continuous improvement in a welcoming environment. In this Senior Engine Test Engineer opportunity, you’ll own testing projects end to end and help troubleshoot and train others to keep results accurate, safe, and compliant.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Engine Test Engineer position include:
- 3+ years of work experience (3+ years required; 5+ years in a similar position preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- Develop test plans and conduct engine performance testing and vehicle testing
- Communicate with customers and manage project start-to-finish procedures
- Validate test systems for data processing, functionality checks, safety, and quality checks
- Perform data analysis for internal and external projects and ensure data quality control
- Document calibrations, operating procedures, technician checklists, and equipment changes using process change and ISO procedures
- Train incoming engineers and test cell operators; lead troubleshooting of test engine/vehicle/equipment as needed
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k); company pays approximately 60%–70% of health benefits; 10 vacation days plus separate personal and sick time.
