Build your expertise in building-envelope investigations with a close-knit consulting team serving Pensacola and the surrounding region. In this Construction Defect / Building Envelope Consultant opportunity, you’ll combine field observations with technical analysis and clear reporting on roofing, waterproofing, cladding, and related systems.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Defect/Building Envelope Consultant position include:
- 3-5+ years of solid construction experience with strong knowledge of building systems
- Experience evaluating building-envelope components such as waterproofing, cladding, and roofing
- Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and building plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Word and comfort writing technical or construction-related reports
- Conduct site visits, observe field conditions, and document findings with detailed photographs
- Meet and communicate with contractors, building owners, school districts, and other project stakeholders
- Prepare clear technical reports using established company templates and upload jobsite photos to the company system
- Travel locally and regionally for site visits and meetings as required; maintain a clean driving record
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
