Step into impactful electrical design work with a team based in the Westchase area of Houston, where school-focused projects make every plan come to life. This Electrical Engineer opportunity at Stanton Engineering Group offers an in-office environment with occasional remote flexibility as a one-off, along with room to grow into broader engineering support like submittal/RFI review, meetings, and field verification.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include:
- 2 to 5 years of building electrical design experience for commercial or institutional buildings.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent electrical engineering/design experience.
- Strong NEC knowledge and quick recall expected at engineer level.
- Experience designing building electrical systems including lighting, receptacles, equipment power, security, and/or technology/data systems.
- Primarily able to work in the Westchase-area Houston office.
- Primarily responsible for drafting and electrical engineering/design tasks on project work.
- Support design/construction meetings and limited field verification as responsibilities expand.
- Use primarily Revit with light AutoCAD (Revit preferred; AutoCAD experience is a plus).
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
