Based in Richmond, VA, this Senior Revit Technician / Designer – Scan-to-BIM Lead opportunity puts your point-cloud and BIM coordination expertise at the center of commercial and industrial project success.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Revit Technician / Designer – Scan-to-BIM Lead position include:
- 5+ years of Revit/BIM experience, including 2–3 years working primarily from LiDAR/point-cloud data
- Lead point-cloud-to-Revit modeling and VDC coordination, identifying conflicts between existing conditions and design models
- Conduct clash detection and lead coordination resolution meetings with relevant project teams
- Create, modify, and manage Revit 3D models and 2D AutoCAD, maintaining high accuracy and alignment with project specifications
- Convert point cloud data into detailed Revit 3D models and 2D AutoCAD, ensuring precision in transforming as-built conditions to digital format
- Establish standards, maintain Revit templates and CAD standards, and support efficient workflows across the team
- Train and mentor junior designers on Revit workflows, Scan-to-BIM techniques, and coordination practices
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and support project managers by aligning BIM deliverables with schedules, scopes, and budgets
Salary: $75,000-$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
