In this Commercial Construction Estimator opportunity in Luling, Louisiana, you’ll lead full-cycle estimating for multi-million-dollar ground-up commercial buildings, public works, and specialized facilities while working within a tight-knit, family-oriented culture.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Construction Estimator position include:
- Minimum 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience or project management experience involving estimating
- Strong ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
- Master-level spreadsheet skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Understanding of bidding processes, front-end documents, AIA General Conditions, addenda, budget control, contracts, project schedules, and close-out requirements
- Lead full-cycle estimating from concept through final estimates for negotiated and public-bid projects
- Build strong, transparent, and trusting relationships with owners, professional service entities, subcontractors, and vendors
- Demonstrate core values of safety, success, family, and a small-business mentality
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
