Bring your engineering expertise to a hands-on product development environment where durability, performance, and real-world testing matter. In this Product Development Engineer opportunity based in San Antonio, you’ll help move advanced products from concept to commercialization for traffic safety and commercial applications.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Product Development Engineer position include:
• 7–12 years of hands-on product development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience with advanced polymers and metals, including injection molding, rotational molding, extrusion, or related manufacturing processes
• Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks preferred), with familiarity with FEA/simulation and PDM/PLM tools
• Independently owns multiple projects from concept through commercialization for traffic safety and commercial products
• Hands-on prototyping and testing, material and supplier qualification, and DFM/DFA
• Troubleshooting and production scale-up to support successful launches
• Experience preferred with combined polymer/metal products, traffic safety, commercial products, or outdoor/UV-exposed applications
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
