Step into a growing construction and design-build environment making a real impact across MEP commercial projects in the Washington, D.C. market, with exciting expansion on the horizon. In this Construction Project Engineer opportunity, you’ll support daily project operations, help strengthen the MEP team, and work with a remote-friendly schedule that still requires you to stay local to the DMV.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Engineer position include:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in construction or A/E/C
- Inspect work performed by trade partners and support jobsite cleanliness, security, and safety
- Assist managing jobsite schedules and coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to solve challenges
- Procure necessary materials; unload, inventory, and stock jobsite materials
- Enforce quality control measures and assist with change order scope and pricing
- Create and manage RFIs and submittals
- Interface with property managers, residents, and clients with professionalism
- Proficient in MS Office and PDF editing (Bluebeam, Adobe, or others); strong organization and time management
Salary: $75k-$95k per year, commensurate with experience.
